Crystal is a natural voice used with Text To Speech programs such as TextAloud.
The AT&T Natural Voices TTS engine does a great job pronouncing most words and even most names correctly.
The 16 KHz voices offer higher quality output for desktop applications, streaming audio from web applications and recording wav files in 16 KHz audio output.
